Acadia National Park Elopement on Jordan Pond

Updated: Mar 1, 2022

If you’re looking for the perfect New England adventure, there’s no better place to elope than Acadia National Park. Located on the coast of Maine, the park features deep blue waters, towering pines and sunrise views from the mountain peaks. The park gives a variety of options for locations to say your vows and spend some time exploring together.

For this styled elopement, the couple exchanged vows on Jordan Pond, with a foggy view of the famous Bubble mountains in the background. If you’re looking for a beautiful elopement view but don’t want to hike for hours to get there, Acadia has a few gems like Jordan Pond where you can park your car and take a quick walk to the site. We worked with our team to plan the best time for this ceremony, so there weren’t crowds of tourists blocking our view. Working with an elopement team that knows these tips and tricks is essential to having a smooth adventure elopement day. We paired up with our friend Nia Kovacev Photography to plan out this shoot, combining our expertise and vision to help our couple have the best experience possible.

Strong Bones Farm designed a stunning floral bouquet that captured the tones and textures of this Maine New England elopement.

To celebrate their nuptials, they picnicked on the cliffs near Thunder Hole. With a view of the ocean, the couple ditched the traditional wedding cake and instead enjoyed a Maine classic- fresh blueberry pie. As a picnic warning- beware of seagulls- one snatched up and flew away with our bushel of grapes.
