Wedding in the city- Providence celebration featuring the skyline and a gondola ride
Updated: Jun 23
Wedding season is in full swing and we were honored to be the storytellers at this Rhode Island dream wedding. Tara and Ryan got married in the heart of Providence, surrounded by their loved ones and friends. We ventured around to take their photos, featuring locations that showcased the beauty of the city- including the inside of the state building- what?! Not everyone gets to go in there for photos, but we had a connection who made it happen and kept the bridal party out of the rain. Yes, it rained- and it was beautiful, rain and all. This gallery is a reminder that you don’t need to be afraid of a little drizzle on your wedding day.
The bride was dressed in a beaded gown with layers of tulle cascading around her. Glittering with Ross Simons diamonds, she brought elegant vibes to a new level.
The bride and groom exchanged letters in place of a first look. We love this idea because it allows you to express yourselves and have a moment of connection before the aisle. The emotion in the letter exchange here tells its own beautiful story.
The couple was wed at St. Mary’s on Broadway, observing the traditions of a Latin mass.
Once they walked down the aisle as husband and wife, we hit the streets of Providence to get their “Just Married” photos in spots that featured the city in all of her glory.
This bridal party was incredible. Not only did they follow us around in the rain, but they brought the good times with them every place we went.
The reception was held at Café Nuovo on the waterfront, where we danced the night away with some of the best beats from Elite Entertainment. We capped the celebration off with a sunset gondola ride through the canal. Is there anything more romantic?
Cheers to the newlywed couple who created this special day. We're so happy for you both and in love with your fairytale.
